We always knew Mac is special.
Turns out he's a real life Unicorn!!!
Today we celebrate the life of a very special pony - Brownland's Macadamia, or as everyone knew him, Mack. Born in the spring of 1998 at Brownland Farm, Mack grew into one of the happiest, kindest, and most generous ponies you could ever meet.
Mack had an amazing career in the large pony hunters. He carried multiple kids through shows with the same steady kindness he showed at home. But what made him truly special wasn't the ribbons - it was how many children he helped fall in love with riding. Mack was the best teacher. He was the learn to canter pony, the who made every rider feel safe. His trot may have been a little bouncy - ok, sometimes VERY bouncy- but that just meant extra giggles in the saddle. He never misbehaved, not once. Instead, he greeted every rider with happy ears and a willing heart. Mack wanted nothing more than to please his kids. Whether it was a first lesson or a horse show, he carried his riders with patience, kindness, and a little sparkle of pony magic. Countless kids learned to ride on Mack, and because of him, they discovered not only how to steer and post, but also how to be brave, gentle, and responsible. He was more than a pony- he was a friend, a teacher, and an angel with hooves. Mack was laid to rest at Fox Ridge Farm, surrounded by love. And though he may no longer be with us in the barn or the ring, he will live forever in the hearts of everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
So thank you, Mack. Thank you for your happy spirit, your eager trot, your soft muzzle, and your kind heart. You were loved every single day, and you'll be loved forever.
